POSITION OBJECTIVE
This position is responsible for helping/ assisting the Facility Manager. In this role the Maintenance Technician I will be tasked in numerous projects involving electrical and plumbing systems and will be responsible for completing all projects in a safe and timely manner. The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing simple repairs, assisting with technical repairs, and able to safely operate power/ hand tools and equipment.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must know how to use manufacturing type.
- Great work ethic.
- Proficient using hand tools.
- Ability and willingness to learn.
- Work safe and know how to utilize PPE.
- Having their tools is a plus.
- Team Player
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High School degree
- One year of Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing/production setting.
- Knowledge of Plumbing (PVC).
- Experience working with 120 V 3-phase 480V (electrical) in a safely manner.
- Proficient working with electrical in a safely manner.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must be proficient with power tools.
- Know how to use manlift and understand fall protection.
- Safety Oriented.
