Many times, it is important to have a coating that can withstand high temperatures without affecting gloss, color and adhesion. Vitracoat’s heat resistant powder coatings will maintain adhesion and avoid cracking at exposure more than 1000°F.

VitraHEAT Level I

Our heat resistant Level I powder coatings are designed to withstand a temperature of 400°F up to a peak temperature of 600°F for intermittent duty. They are available in a variety of different colors both smooth and texture. This may include applications such as cooktops and toasters.

VitraHEAT Level II

Our heat resistant Level II powder coatings are designed to withstand a temperature of 600°F up to a peak temperature of 850°F for intermittent duty. They are available in a limited amount of dark, textured colors. This may include applications such as barbeque grills.

VitraHEAT Level II products include:

VitraHEAT Level III

Our heat resistant Level III powder coatings are silicone-based and designed to withstand a temperature of 850°F up to peak temperatures of more than 1000°F for intermittent duty. Available in black texture only, they must be applied on a mechanically prepared surface for optimal performance. This may include applications such as mufflers and exhausts.
