POSITION LOCATION: Houston, Texas

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Production Administrator is responsible for supporting all production administrative needs.

  • Retrieval of new orders on the JOR for processing
  • Create Batch Tickets from new orders on the JOR.
  • Request from the laboratories (Houston or Lerma) any missing documentation or standards as needed.
  • Create Product folders to store batch history and Master formulations and First Piece Report.
  • Work with formulation team and QC Supervisor to ensure Formula Batch Ticket is correct before going to the weighers.
  • Ensure orderly transfer of Master Formula & First Piece Report to production team.
  • Ensure increases, decreases, and cancelled orders are properly addressed.
  • Scan completed order documentation into master or batch folders.
  • Complete plant transfer paperwork of finished product.
  • Complete all production labeling requirements.
    • Finished product.
    • Master panels.
    • Pre-ship panels.
    • Match & make panels.
    • Warehouse labels.
    • Sample panels.
  • As needed, apply, and bake powder coatings.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in good working conditions.
  • Other duties as required by supervisor.

3.0 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities for this position.

4.0 POSITION ACCOUNTABILITY

7.0 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma is a must.
  • Organizational skills are essential.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work a part of a team or under direct supervision is essential.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge is required.

The employee must be able to communicate clearly with others and must be physically able to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and kneel. The employee must be able to occasionally lift or move up to approximately 25 pounds.
