Job Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Job Summary:
This position supports the logistics team at Vitracoat America and provides assistance with warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting inventory.


Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Support

  • Prepare and pull orders for shipment.
  • Perform finished goods cycle counts; propose adjustments based on counts and research.
  • Receive all inbound shipments (e.g., MX Trucks, Returns, Transfers).
  • Ship all orders, ensuring the oldest batch is picked until a better process is established.
  • Record shelf locations for shipping clerks based on received truck shipments.
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks.

Shipping & Customer Service

  • Ship orders via LTL, Ground, Express, or Full Truck methods.
  • Support warehouse clerks by providing efficient shipping solutions for:
    • Customer orders
    • Approved warehouse transfers
  • Ensure packages are labeled with proper shipping information.
  • Support the Warehouse Lead to maintain service levels.

Inventory & Organization

  • Complete daily moves to create space for new materials.
  • Verify all inbound paperwork is provided to shipping clerks.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Accurate data entry skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to achieve competency in D365 BC.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable to a continuous improvement environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to traverse the office and warehouse facilities.
  • Lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Climb ladders and perform tasks requiring bending or squatting.
  • Stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Use a computer/keyboard for extended periods.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Complete company-provided Lift Truck Training/Certification.

  • Ability to identify potential hazards in the warehouse environment through visual and auditory awareness.
